When the steering wheel is turned all the way, the thick part of the tie rod hits the steering gear box and stops, which is the limit of the turning angle on the steering rack side. Therefore, by inserting an adapter and spacer between the tie rod and the rack, the amount of movement of the rack will be increased and the cutting angle will be increased.
